Accommodation
The conference will be held at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, which is located between the city centre and the West End of Glasgow. The hotel is a short walk away from shops, bars and restaurants and is easy to reach by car and public transport.
Glasgow Marriott Hotel Rates
Conference rate (until 31st May 2010)
A special conference rate of £90 per night (including breakfast, £10 supplement for an extra person) is available for bookings made by the 31st May 2010. To take advantage of this rate:

Standard rate
From the 31st May 2010 onwards the standard hotel rate will apply. The rate may change depending on the date of booking, but current rates are given as a guide:
Advanced booking rate (excluding breakfast): £89 per night. This rate has to be pre-paid in full, is non-refundable if cancelled more than 1 day after booking, and non-changeable.
Standard room rate (excluding breakfast): £99 per night
Standard room rate (including breakfast): £109 per night

Driving directions to the Glasgow Marriott Hotel are available via this link. Parking is available on-site, the fee is £1.6 per hour, £8 per day.
Arriving by air
Glasgow Airport – GLA
Distance: 8 miles
Driving directions: From Airport join M8 Eastbound (signposted Glasgow). Depart M8 at J19, following signs for City Centre. On Bothwell Street stay in the left hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights onto Pitt Street (there is a sign for Marriott). At the traffic lights turn left onto St Vincent Street, then turn left at the traffic lights onto Newton Street, again stay in the left hand lane and follow down to the traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic lights and the Marriott Hotel is on your left hand side. Turn left into the car park.

Edinburgh Airport – EDI
Distance: 40 miles
Driving Directions: Exit Airport, following signs for Glasgow. At Newbridge roundabout take first exit and join M9. Take junction to join M8 signposted Glasgow. Continue on M8 until junction 19. Keep in left hand lane until traffic lights. Turn left and hotel is on left hand side.

Prestwick Airport – PIK
Hotel direction: 35 miles
Driving Directions: Follow signs for M8, Glasgow. Depart M8 at J19, following signs for City Centre.
