Getting to Aberystwyth

The most convenient airport is Birmingham International. Direct trains to Aberystwyth leave from the airport passing Birmingham New Street Station. The journey to Aberystwyth takes three hours.

Manchester airport is three and a half hours away by train and involves two changes.

Rail journey to Cardiff airport is over four hours so it is not worth flying via Cardiff unless you are renting a car and drive to Aberystwyth.  Driving time is two and a half hours.

Heathrow airport is about six hours away of which approximately five hours is the train journey and one hour involves getting to Euston station in London.  Other London airports are more than six hours away by train.
